Music Committee

Our church deeply values the power of live acoustic musical performances in this digital age.

Led by Jin Kim, a professional choral and and orchestral conductor, we present joyful and inspiring sacred music for all services throughout the year.  Leading professional orchestral musicians from Boston join our annual Christmas and Easter cantata performances. Past musical productions include complete performances of Gilbert & Sullivan operettas and Congo Capers (Broadway review).

Our Sanctuary Choir (adult choir for Sunday services) is open to new members at any time.  We hold weekly rehearsals full of intense instruction served with a healthy dose of humor.  Choir rehearsal is typically held on Thursday evenings at 7:30 with Sunday morning rehearsal at 8:45.  Many members of our congregation and the local community join our Festival Chorus for our Christmas and Easter cantatas.  Please contact the church office to inquire about joining us.

The Church has an “Angels of Music” fund through which donations may be made at any time or through memorial gifts. These funds help offset the cost of our music program.

By-Laws:
The Music Committee shall provide the music necessary and suitable for the forms of worship in use consulting with the Pastor. At least two of the six committee members shall be non-choir members.
